As a local business, we understand that seniors face a wide range of issues as they age, and that challenges are even greater for seniors who identify as LGBTQ. As an LGBT-certified business, Alegre Home Care has all the qualifications to serve the LGBTQ population in San Francisco with integrity and compassion. We are the only LGBT-certified home care agency in Northern California and are also recognized by the Business Times as the largest LGBT-owned company in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We support San Francisco’s LGBTQ seniors through activism, providing inclusive and confidential in-home care services, and sponsoring community programs and events. We are proud sponsors of Openhouse, an organization which enables San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs.
