Your Neighborhood Home Care Agency
With personalized care plans, Alegre Home Care provides individuals with the ability to age or recover from the comfort of their own home. Our caregivers in San Francisco and the surrounding areas receive the best training and attend to each person with compassion, empathy, and respect.
Being surrounded by familiar and treasured memories fuels well-being. Companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, medication reminders, errands, and respite are just a few of the ways our caregivers can help you stay independent in your own home.
Community is important to us. We are a locally-owned, diverse, and inclusive agency in home care in San Fransisco, San Rafael, Stockton and the surrounding area specializing in senior care and dementia care. We are also the only LGBT-Certified home care agency in California. It’s easy for us to go above and beyond, because we believe people matter.

“Words cannot express my gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Alegre Home Care. My Aunt was reluctant and refusing care. Alegre assembled the best team of caregivers to see her through to the end of her life and allowed her to remain at home.”
Providing quality in-home care services since 1993:
A message dedicated to your health and safety about Coronavirus known as COVID-19
As our community continues to work together to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we’d like to take a moment to provide you with an update on the precautions Alegre Home Care is taking to ensure the safety of our clients and employees.
By now you may have heard that 6 Bay Area counties are ordered to “Shelter in Place”.
Alegre Home Care and its workforce are considered an “Essential Business” and will remain open and available to clients and employees 24 hours a day as usual.
Alegre Home Care continues to observe the CDC’s recommendations on disease prevention, handwashing and cleaning protocols, as well as providing guidance on managing staff members who are displaying flu-like symptoms.
Additionally, all caregivers are following all universal precaution guidelines and are required to call the office to report if they are not feeling well or exhibit signs of cold or flu. If an employee reports this to the office, they may not report to work until properly cleared and ready to return to work.
We realize this is a trying time for everyone and Alegre Home Care is here during this time of confusion.
